We want to create spaces where existing and new communities are able to flourish and benefit from the opportunities on offer.

We are very proud to be investing in Newham and delivering real benefits for residents and local communities across all five of our development projects by:

Building over 8,000 homes, including thousands of new affordable homes.

Supporting dozens of community events.

Investing over £350k in local charities, schools, sports clubs and partnerships through the Berkeley Foundation.

Delivering new connections, including links between our emerging neighbourhoods at TwelveTrees Park and Bromley by Bow.

Partnering with NewVic College, Job Centre + and Our Newham Works, to deliver local employment and educational initiatives.

Employing at least 25% of our workforce from within the borough.

Hosting workshops, tutorials and programmes with local schools and educational organisations.

Creating over 25 acres of parkland, open spaces and children’s playspaces.

Delivering apprenticeships and work experience opportunities for local students.

Being a good neighbour

We are continuing to work closely with the local community and our neighbours to ensure that any disruption from the construction works is minimised as much as possible.

Our usual site working hours are:

  • Monday to Friday: 8am to 6pm.
  • Saturday: 8am to 1pm.
  • Sundays and Bank Holidays: No work unless agreed with Newham Council beforehand.
